Baked Feta with Tomatoes

Baked Feta with Tomatoes, Garlic & Olive Oil – Ready from the oven in 25 minutes

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 2 blocks of feta cheese (about 200 g each)
  • 400 g cherry tomatoes (or date tomatoes)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 red onion (optional)
  • 3–4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1–2 tbsp "Mediterraner-Dip" by Rock'n'Rubs
  • Fresh basil or parsley (to taste)

Step-by-step instructions

    Preheat the oven

    Set to 200°C top and bottom heat or 180°C fan-assisted.

    Preparation

    Halve the tomatoes, finely chop or slice the garlic, and cut the onion into thin rings (optional). Place the feta in two small baking dishes or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Assemble everything

    Arrange the tomatoes around the feta. Add garlic, onion rings, and seasoning blends of your choice (such as oregano, thyme, pepper) on top. Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle chili flakes to taste.

    Baking

    Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, until the feta is lightly golden and the tomatoes are soft and juicy.

    Finalize

    Sprinkle with fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley). Season with a little salt to taste, if needed.

    Serve

    Serve hot right away with warm bread – or toss with fresh pasta, or use as a topping for bowls or salads.

Tip:

  1. For extra roasted flavor, switch on the grill function during the last 2–3 minutes and briefly brown the feta.
