Linguine Lemon Chicken Pasta

Linguini Lemon Chicken Pasta with “Geiler Scheizzz – Die Zitrus Bitch” by Rock’n’Rubs

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • 250 g linguini
  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • „Geiler Scheizzz - Die Zitrus Bitch“ von Rock’n‘Rubs
  • 1–2 organic lemons
  • Juice
  • lemon zest
  • 40–60 g freshly grated Parmesan
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional: a small piece of butter or a little pasta water for the sauce

Preparation

    Cook the pasta

    Cook the linguini in plenty of salted water until al dente. Before draining, reserve about 1 cup of pasta water.

    Prepare the chicken

    Pat the chicken breasts dry and generously season with "Geiler Scheizzz - Die Zitrus Bitch."

    Roast chicken

    Heat the pan and add olive oil. Sear the chicken breasts over medium heat until golden brown, about 5–6 minutes per side. Let them rest briefly, then slice into strips.

    Lemon base

    In the same pan, heat a little olive oil (optionally add a knob of butter). Briefly sauté the lemon zest (do not let it brown!). Add the lemon juice and reduce the heat.

    Combine pasta and sauce

    Add the linguini directly to the pan. Stir in a bit of pasta water until a creamy, light emulsion forms. Fold in the Parmesan until the sauce thickens nicely. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

    Finish

    Fold in the chicken strips or place them on top. Serve with extra lemon zest and Parmesan.
