Before grilling or frying, lightly coat your food with oil and sprinkle with a thin layer of chili rub. Let it sit briefly to absorb the flavors.
Grill, fry, or smoke meat or vegetables as usual.
Just before serving, sprinkle a pinch over the finished dish – adds fire, freshness & crunch.
To taste:
– Mild: ¼–½ tsp per serving
– Medium: ½–1 tsp per serving
– Hot: 1–1½ tsp per serving
Tip: It’s best to add the seasoning gradually.
Perfect with lime juice, herb butter, aioli or mayo, honey or maple glaze, or a few jalapeño rings.
Use as a table finisher or as a base seasoning before grilling – perfect when it’s just “not HOT enough”!
