Then generously apply the rub everywhere &#8211; under the skin too, if possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Prepare the bottle<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Pour out about half of the liquid from the beer bottle (drink it or save it for later).<\/li>\n<li>Optional: Lightly crush 1 garlic clove and add it to the bottle along with a sprig of rosemary.<\/li>\n<li>Place the bottle on a heatproof surface. Set the chicken on the open bottle so it sits upright and stable. The legs act as extra supports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Grilling<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat the grill for indirect heat (about 180\u2013200\u202f\u00b0C).<\/li>\n<li>Place a drip pan under the chicken.<\/li>\n<li>Set the chicken with the bottle onto the grill grate in the indirect zone.
