Let them soak for at least 30 minutes, or longer if you like.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Blanch<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.<\/li>\n<li>Blanch the fries for 2\u20133 minutes until just tender but not falling apart.<\/li>\n<li>Drain and let them steam dry on a kitchen towel or rack.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Create a crispy coating<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Gently toss the dry, blanched fries in a bowl with cornstarch (and a little baking powder if desired) until lightly dusted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Frying \u2013 Option 1: Double-fry method<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat oil to 160\u202f\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Fry the fries for 3\u20134 minutes, then remove and let cool.<\/li>\n<li>Heat the oil to 190\u202f\u00b0C and fry the fries again until golden and crispy (about 2\u20133 minutes).<\/li>\n<li>Drain on paper towels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Or: Air fryer \/ oven \u2013 Option 2<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Toss the fries with a little oil (ideally in a bowl with spray oil or similar).<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 200\u202f\u00b0C (air fryer) for about 18\u201322 minutes, shaking occasionally.<\/li>\n<li>Or bake in a preheated oven (220\u202f\u00b0C top\/bottom heat) on parchment paper for about 30\u201335 minutes, turning halfway through.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>Add the truffle topping<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>While still hot, toss the fries immediately with the \u201cTruffle Deluxe\u201d fries seasoning.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer to a plate or bowl and sprinkle with Parmesan.<\/li>\n<li>If you want even more truffle flavor, dip them in truffle mayo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the truffle mayonnaise:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place mayonnaise in a small bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in \u201cTruffle Deluxe\u201d fries seasoning (and any other desired ingredients), then season to taste.<\/li>\n<li>Let sit briefly to allow the flavors to develop.<\/li>\n<li>Serve chilled \u2013 perfect with fries, steak, grilled veggies, or sandwiches.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>Tip:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For a lighter version, mix the mayo with Greek yogurt (50\/50).<\/li>\n<li>Stored in a screw-top jar, the mayo will stay fresh in the fridge for 2\u20133 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":5002,"template":"","diaetform":[134],"rezeptkategorie":[120],"class_list":["post-5007","rezept","type-rezept","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","diaetform-vegetarian","rezeptkategorie-potato-dishes"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/rocknrubs.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rezept\/5007","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/rocknrubs.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rezept"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/rocknrubs.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/rezept"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/rocknrubs.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5002"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/rocknrubs.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5007"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"diaetform","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/rocknrubs.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/diaetform?post=5007"},{"taxonomy":"rezeptkategorie","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/rocknrubs.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rezeptkategorie?post=5007"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
