Salt-Pepper-Garlic Ultimate Cheeseburger

Salt, Pepper & Garlic Ultimate Cheeseburger with “Winner – Garlic Style” from Rock’n’Rubs.

Ingredients (for 2 burgers):

  • For the patties:
  • 400 g ground beef (80/20 ideal)
  • 2–2.5 tsp "Winner – Garlic Style" by Rock'n'Rubs
  • 1 tsp neutral oil for frying
  • Toppings:
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • some lamb’s lettuce or baby spinach
  • 2 burger buns (sesame)
  • SPG Smoky Sauce:
  • 1 tsp "Winner – Garlic Style" by Rock'n'Rubs
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

Preparation

    Shape the patties

    Gently divide the ground meat into 2 balls and press them lightly to flatten (about 2 cm thick). Don’t overwork the meat – otherwise, the patties will turn out dense.

    Season

    Season the patties with your SPG just before frying, sprinkling both sides. Careful not to overdo it – 1 teaspoon per side is enough.

    Roast

    Preheat your pan or grill until very hot.
    • Sear for 2–3 minutes per side
    • Add cheddar when flipping
    • Cover briefly to let the cheese melt
    Wait until a nice caramelization forms – don’t flip too early!

  4. 4

    Toast the buns

    Briefly toast the insides in a pan or on the grill.

  5. 5

    Stir the sauce

    Mix all the ingredients and let sit for 5 minutes.
